Cancer Awareness Seminar

An intensive programme on Cancer Awareness was organized at the Rotary Sadan by the Rotary Club of Jadavpur, and Calcutta Avyanna played the role of the Joint Lead Co-Host for the same. The programme was inaugurated by eminent doctors and ministers Sm Chandrima Bhattacharyya andShri Debasish Kumar. The seminar included awareness on cervical, breast, pediatric and head & neck cancers and talks by eminent doctors like Dr.Krishnendu Gupta, Dr. Rosina Ahmed, Dr. Soma De and Dr. Sudipta Chandra on this occasion truly educated the large crowd present on that date. Dance recital by Debalina Kumar and musical soirees made the programme truly enjoyable. The programme was attended by several cancer survivors. A pledge was made to undertake a special children’s ward at ICH.
